Robert Bodi Obituary
Robert J. "Bob" Bodi, age 67, of Delta, OH passed away August 19, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born June 2, 1951 in Toledo to Howard and Angela (Snyder) Bodi. Bob was employed with Ohio Bell and the former E.D.S. for more than 19 years. He was an avid fisherman and scuba diver who loved the water. Bob enjoyed going on cruises with his wife, Helen.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Helen Bodi; children, Bonnie (Gordon) Armistead, and Kevin Bodi; grandchildren, Andrea, Griffin, Grace and Blaine Armistead; sister, Darlene (Robert) Vigh; known to his nieces and nephews as "Uncle Bobby." In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his siblings, Joan, Yvonne and Roger.
The family will receive guests, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Road, (419-392-9500). A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toledo Area Humane Society in Bob's memory.

I think I knew your son, Kevin, at Mo roe County Program for Heating impaired. I think of Kevin often; he was one of my favorite students. My condolences your family in the passing of Bob.

My condolences to the Bodi family. I first met Bob in 1989 at EDS in Plano, Texas. I was part of the EDS Poker Group which Bob was one of the original members. I always enjoyed talking to Bob. He was such a gentle soul. My favorite memory of Bob is the time I bought his Puch 10-speed. It was 1990 and Bob had this beautiful Puch 10-speed. He only rode a few times. I asked him why he was selling it and the first thing he did was point to his backside and then the saddle on the bike and said "not a good match". Bob had a great sense of humor. He is going to be missed.

Dear Helen and Family! So sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. I hope you remember me, I was in your wedding and we went to school together. I dated your cousin Pat Finnegan and we spent many great times together. Have thought of you two on many ocassions, but didn't know how to get in touch with you. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
