Robert Dwayne Russell, 92, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on January 23, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 17, 1933, in Millbury, Ohio, to Raymond and Lula (Lusher). Bob enjoyed traveling and fishing. Bob also enjoyed spending time in Florida. He worked as a millwright for LOF for many years before enjoying retirement with his late wife, Joyce. He was also a proud Mason. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob also served as an apartment Manager in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii, for over 5 years.
Bob is survived by his loving children, Cynthia (Tommy) Bruechert, James (Maria) Russell, Jon Russell; grandchildren, Steve (Sara), Chad (Julie), Candice (Mark), Jessie (Kim), Claudia (Jeff), Andrea (Gary), Monica (David); 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce; son, Jim; and parents.
Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio, on Friday, January 30, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home, on Saturday, January 31, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Bob's name can be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
