Robert Sochacki Obituary

Robert Sochacki

Robert Sochacki, 71, passed on February 28th, 2026. He was born January 23rd, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio, to parents, Richard and Joan (Czerniakowski) Sochacki. Bob was employed with Promedica Flower Hospital, performing HVAC and in facility work. He was known for working hard all his life, and always strove to provide many joyful years with his wife, Susan. Together they shared 47 years of dedication and love, while outpouring that same kindness with family, and friends.

Bob was best known for his enthusiasm as a Lake Erie Fisherman, spending most weekend mornings watching the sunrise on his boat, his father at his side, sharing walleye and perch for dinner.

Bob loved being outdoors, finding skill as a marksman. He was most skilled hunting geese, pheasant, rabbit, and the occasional pesky groundhog! He gravitated to water all his life, so it was only natural he and Sue purchase a home on the Maumee River. Sharing in this dream, Bob and Sue spent time together waterskiing, gazing at the sunset and moon rise.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; brothers, Ralph (Paula) and Raymond (Santiago) Sochacki.

Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Thursday, March 5, from 2:00-6:00 p.m., with a Scripture Service at 5:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will begin on Friday, March 6, at St. Patrick Providence, at 10:30 a.m., with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of NW Ohio or St. Patrick Church Providence. Please leave a condolence message for the family at CoyleFuneralHome.com.
