Robert Tate Obituary
Robert O. Tate, Jr., born July 16, 1956, passed away December 4, 2021. The former owner of Tate Funeral Home and Tate Funeral Services in Toledo was a 1973 graduate of J. W. Scott High School, Bluffton University and the Wayne State College of Mortuary Science in Detroit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert O., Sr., and Hattie Tate; his brother, Paul Duhart; and niece, Donya Duhart.
Survivors include his son, Robert O., III; sisters, Sandra M. Davis and Teresa T. Brown; nieces, Mona Smith, Anne-Marie Brown and Kristian Brenneman (Tirrell); nephews, Tim Coates, Paul Duhart, Jr., Richard O. Brown, III, Justin S. Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial scholarship contributions can be mailed to the Alpha Xi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., P. O. Box 351061, Toledo, 43635 or electronically, $AXLScholarship.

I am so sorry to hear about Robert's passing. He was a good man. We had a dance outing planned once things settled down. I miss our exchanges of positive messages. He was so proud of his son.
