Roberta Weaver Obituary
Roberta (Todd) Weaver, 89, of Rossford, Ohio, died September 20, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Center. She was born December 12, 1927 in West Point, Tennessee to Broadus and Bertha (Andrews) Todd. She married William Marshall Weaver on December 23, 1947 and he recently died on July 13th. His death broke her heart and most likely contributed to her declining health. Roberta loved to cook and tend to her vegetable garden and flowers. She was a longtime member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and was one of the 13 charter members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gentry, J. D. and Joel Todd; sister, Dorothy Jean Robertson; niece, Julia (Todd) Keeton and son-in-law, Daniel Nichpor. She is survived by son, Stanley (Linda) Weaver and daughter, Judy Nichpor; grandsons, Preston (Rebecca) Baker, Wesley (Sarah Stewart/Skylar Zarecky) Baker and Jeremy (Traci) Weaver; great-grandchildren, Noah, Kylie and Sydney Baker and Anne and Aria Weaver; sisters-in-law, Mattie Ruth Todd and Arthieal Todd and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg (419-874-3133) on Sunday, September 24th, 3-7 p.m. The funeral will take place on Monday, September 25th, 11 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Glenwood Rd., Rossford. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Wood County Committee on Aging.
