Bud was a close friend of my wife and me growing up in Eagle Lake Manor Wi. We shared a lot of fun experiences together. We lost touch and never kept in contact but we thought of Bud often. Bud was his own person and did enjoy his motorcycle. I remember one time when he took my wife and I for a ride. We stopped for a drink at a local bar and upon leaving we all got on his cycle. As he took of the bike wobbled all over and we thought for sure we would fall over. Bud kept his bike in my garage where he would modify it. He put an extended front end on it but forgot to put the extension springs in the tubes. Well we had quite an experience when he took me on a trial run. Things were fine till we hit the railroad tracks. Quite a ride that was. I could set for hours and tell stories of fun my times with Bud. I am sure God has a place for him and look forward to seeing him after I leave this earth. May God comfort his brother in this time of grief. Tom would give Bud and I rides to Burlington many times. We loved his car. I always remember the neat exaust pipes he had on it. Our prayers are with Bud.
