Ronald L. Engel, Sr., age 87, of Neapolis, OH passed away on December 30, 2023. He was born in Continental, OH on October 20, 1936 to Louis and Alta (Cross) Engel.
Ron was employed at Borden Chemical and also worked in sales. He enjoyed woodworking and activities at the Senior Center.
Surviving are his children, Ronald (Lisa) Engel, Mark Engel, Gary (Cheryl) Engel, Kevin Engel, Carrie (Paul) Amstutz; and sister, Edith "Naomi" Shave. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon L. Engel.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin immediately after visitation at 1:00 p.m.
