Ronald W. Farley

Ronald W. Farley, age 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on October 17, 2018. He was born on August 10, 1934 in Sylvania, Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. and Dorothy L. (Bergman) Farley.

He was an insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance for 26 years and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Ron is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary L. (LaPata); sons, Daryl and Michael (Trish) Farley of Toledo; daughter, Vonna Sue VanHeemst of Sun Lakes, AZ; and grandchildren, Derric, Holly, Garret, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Adam and Allyson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Farley; and daughter-in-law, Lori Farley.

Arrangements were entrusted to Newcomer Northwest Chapel. A Graveside Ceremony for family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560.

Mary, Daryl Mike, Sue and the entire family,I had the privelege of knowing Ron for over 50years, dating back to the Sterlings in Maumee, K-Mart Foods and church. He was a gentle ca ring giant, but you all ready know that. I w ill always remember him ushering with John Sutherland, talk about a mutt and Jeff pairing!Rejoicing in his homegoing, but sharing your grief.Alan Kunz9
