Rosa Feemster Obituary
Rosa
Rosa Feemster 95, passed into the hands of her heavenly father March 27, 2015, at her home. Born in Paducah, KY, she raised her family while a member of St. Paul AME Zion and later joined Parkwood 7th Day Adventist Church. She worked faithfully in her church and served as an usher, sang in the choir, and worked with outreach services which included visiting with the sick and shut in members and distributing commodities. She was a devoted mother raising 7 children and 5 grandchildren. Rosa was preceded in death by her son, Sgt. Collina Feemster who passed serving in the Vietnam War, and daughter, Barbara Green.
She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Beverly Boykin, Henry Feemster Jr., Johnny (Carmen) Feemster, William Feemster and Keith Feemster; 20 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 5 - 8 p.m. with wake services Saturday 12 noon, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m., all from the Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel. Interment Monday 11 a.m. at Forest Cemetery.
