There are no word that I have to express how heart broken I was when I found out that you are gone. I met you when I was about in the 2nd grade. Always so sweet from the very start and over the years you never changed. You were like a rare flower that never changes in color or beauty. May your soul rest in peace my Sister.

I was so saddened and blown away to read an obituary of yet another friend on yesterday. Rosalyn was my general manager at Ameritech and really was a compassionate individual even in a workplace that was stressful both with customers and at times with employees. I was so proud to see a young black woman in her position who represented it with class, sharpness, professionalism and always beautiful.
To Roz, you looked out for me at a time when I didn't realize I needed it and I will be forever grateful for your like and love for me. Farewell Roz and know that I became a true professional in communications not because of my degree but for the time, tips and genuine interest you invested in me. I love you. I have achieved many wonderful accomplishments in my life because of you. God bless you beautiful.

To the Family of Rosalyn Hobson Johnson:

Please accept my sincere condolences. Rosalyn was very much a part of my coming of age on Pinewood Avenue. From Robinson Junior High through Scott High School she was a friend, neighbor and classmate. A natural born leader, master caretaker, and the epitome of motherhood. An exemplary woman of strength she strove, survived and inspired others to do the same. A phenomenal woman has risen to a place of well-deserved rest and peace. May God bless each of you; may you be wrapped in warm memories and find comfort in her undying love.

Once a Bulldog always a Bulldog and more!

With Sincere Sympathy,

Shirley (Wilson) Helton
