A Sisters Love

In loving Memory of ROSE

Even when life closed its doors,

And the years gave us only moments,

There was always a sisters love.

A love quiet but steady, waiting behind every "maybe"

Every short visit,

Every time we found our way back to each other.

There were things we never got to say, days we never got to share, and spaces we wished we could've filled, but through it all, no man, no distance, no closed door, could take away what God planted in us. We were the Rose of Sharon; two flowers on the same root intertwined in ways only sisters understood. And even now, though I can't touch your face or hold your hand, your presence is still here. Your light is still here. A sister's love doesn't end; it is for always.
