Rose Marie Dunlap

Rose Marie Dunlap, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 19, 2018. She was born in Toledo to Paul and Helen Gabor on September 15, 1930. She was married to Kenneth R. Dunlap who preceded her in death. They raised 5 children together, Keith (Paulette) Dunlap, Sandra (Jeff) Strauss, Carol (Tom deceased) Rokicki, Julie (Jim) Strick, Alan (Wendi) Dunlap of Georgia. She has 7 grandchildren, Bryan Dunlap (Amber Hollstein), Cory (Kelly) Dunlap, Jamee Rokicki, Andrew (Brittney) Rokicki, Miranda (Jenna) Strick, Elizabeth (Trevor) Fournier, Kelly (Matt) Jahns. Rose is also survived by her brother, Paul Gabor and sister, Ginny Katafiasz. She was excited to know that her first great grandson is on the way in April. Rose loved to crochet, knit and spend as much time with her family as possible.

A special thanks to everyone at Renal Care Dialysis for taking such good care of her for the past 8 years. Special thanks also to Jan, who came over every Saturday to give her communion, in turn they became good friends. Mom always looked forward to her visits and their long talks.

Friends are invited to visit from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Friday December 21, 2018 at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday, December 22, 2018 at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Road. Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
