Roy Lattea Obituary
Roy G. Lattea, Jr., age 88, of Toledo, passed away June 19, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Roy was born May 31, 1930 in Hurst, WV to Roy and Lucille (Means) Lattea. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. After returning home, Roy married his high school sweetheart Wilma L. Rinehart January 16, 1954. He was employed with the Sylvania United Church of Christ for more than 14 years retiring January 15, 2006.
He is survived by his children, Dale (Jody Stribrny) Lattea, Janet (Tom) Woodard and Jerry (Sue) Lattea; brothers, Robert Lattea and William (Naomi) Lattea; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
The family will receive guests Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at Association Cemetery Sylvania, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice in Roy's memory.
