Sandra Ball Obituary
01/22/1950 - 03/20/2024
Sandra J. "Sandi" Ball, age 74, of Toledo, was tragically taken due to a car accident on March 20, 2024. Sandi was born in Logan, West Virginia, on January 22, 1950, to Lawson and Phyllis (Mullins) Hensley. She was a graduate of Libbey High School.
Sandi retired from AT&T, formerly Ohio Bell and then went on to work at Waite High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grand-girls especially going to their sporting events, getting all their nails done and traveling. Sandi loved her sisters and brother and served as a wonderful wife and lifelong friend to her husband Ed. She loved to tell stories of her loved ones and sharing her love to everyone she got to know.
Left to mourn Sandi is her husband, Ed; daughter, Shannon McCullough; son, Chad (Coreen) Ball; her grandchildren and the loves of her life, Libby and Lydia Ball, Kada McCullough and Alan Flores; great-grandchildren, Maelynn and Lennox Flores; brother, Don (Maggi) Hensley; sisters, Sheri Hensley and Mickey (Bub) Christian. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 2:00-6:00 PM.

Sandi and I volunteered for a new group at AT&T. We worked together exclusively till she retired. Took two wonderful trips together with Georgia Orians and Ann Stewart. I am very glad to have known her. My condolences to her family.
