Sheryl Eckhart Obituary
Sheryl L.
Sheryl L. Eckhart, 59, of Point Place, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday,
August 7, 2013, while in The Toledo Hospital. She was born in Toledo, OH on April 29, 1954, to John R., Jr. and Therese A. (Pemberton) Eckhart. Sheryl worked for 33 years for Libbey Glass in the Warehouse and was a member of the United Steelworkers of American Local 700. She considered it her main intent and goal in life to thoroughly spoil her nieces and nephews, which she achieved with great satisfaction. She loved to listen to country music, playing cards and traveling to casinos.
She is survived by her loving family members which
include her brothers, John (Maryann) and James (Sue Willhauck) Eckhart; sister, Darlene Eckhart; sister-in-law, Gloria Eckhart and her sons, Mark and John; nephews, Andrew Eckhart, and his sons, Grant and Garret, Daniel (Jessica) Eckhart and their children, Masyn, Camryn and Gavin. Preceding Sheryl in death are her parents; brother, Mark Eckhart; niece, Nicole, Eckhart; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Eckhart and Linda Eckhart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin - Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611 (419.726.1583). Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. Contributions in Sheryl's memory may be made to the donor's choice. To the Eckhart family,I was so shocked and saddened when my sister Jackie Mohr told me of Sherrys passing.I remember those two together when I was growing up.They were two WILD & CRAZY GIRLS.They lived life to the fullest and were always joined at the hip.If I could have a friend as great as Sherry was to my sister Jackie when I grew up I would be one very lucky person.Sherry always had a big smile on her face whenever I saw her and could put a smile on my face as well.My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone of you and to all who knew her as she was a wonderful person and will be truly missed by MANY people, Im sure.May you be at ease knowing she is no longer in pain and is in Gods hands now.RIP SHERRY.Sincerely Sue Haumesser Kosakowski

Sorry to hear of your loss of Sherry. I worked with her many years, even in maintenance when we did hard labor together side by side. She always asked about my children even though she hadn't seen them again over 25 years. Your family is in my prayers

Sheryl was such a great person to work with at Libbey glass. I always considered her one of my good friends. She will be missed.
