Skipp Turner Obituary
04/12/1973 - 08/05/2023
Skipp Jeffrey Turner, age 50, of Swanton, OH, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was born on April 12, 1973, to Arthur and Beverly (Bassett) Turner in Dubois, PA.
Skipp was a dear son, brother, uncle, partner and friend that meant the absolute world and will be missed beyond words by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was caring and generous with his time and expertise. Skipp will be remembered for all of the great times spent together from gatherings at the Friarton house, to nights out on the island, to annual trips to Florida, to the millions of flying gatherings with our R/C family, to Sunday dinners, bonfires, shop nights, wing night, cookouts and 4-Wheeler trips to name a few. Skipp had a quirky sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and drones, BBQing, music, cars, animals (especially his boys Lenni and Louie and his girl Keisha) and spending time with family and friends.
Skipp worked as an engineer at several local companies. He enjoyed his work with robots at Robex and Kaufman Engineered Systems. He also worked for Toledo Technologies (PCD). Skipp was extremely intelligent and innovative. He was dedicated and driven. His work gave him the opportunity to travel to many places throughout the country. Skipp has had his hands in many of the products we all use every day.
Skipp is survived by his father, Arthur Turner; mother, Beverly (Bassett) Turner; brother, Scott (Heather); nephew, Alex (Capriana); niece, Mackenzie (Mac); great niece, Kaena; uncle, Paul Bassett (Maria); cousin, Shawn; and his loving partner, Stacy Lesniewski. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur Chester and Myrtle Turner.
The family will receive guests at a Celebration of Life at 225 S. Munson Rd., Swanton, OH 43558 on Saturday, September 16, 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Toledo Humane Society or any charity of your choice.

We were shocked and saddened to read of Skipp's passing. We were his driver for the last few years to DTW when he traveled for his job and thoroughly enjoyed talking to him on the trips up and back. Please accept our sincere condolences for your deep loss. I could see the love he had for his family, his kitties, and for Stacy. So very sorry.
