OSWALD Sophia Jean A celebration of life. Sophia Jean Oswald, age 74, of Inverness, FL, since September 2009, died peacefully with children David and Michele at her side on Monday, November 1, 2010, at Hospice House of Citrus Co., Lecanto, FL. Born on February 11, 1936, in the North end of Toledo she attended Woodward and Whitney Vocational High Schools. During her younger years in Toledo she cashiered, waitressed and was a homemaker. Later she and her late husband bought, sold and ran different taverns in the North West Ohio area and one in Los Angeles. Returning to Ohio, she retired from ownership of the Village Tavern in Delta, OH, at age 61. She was a most loving, caring and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt with a great sense of humor and a past member of the Professional Business Women's Assoc., the Ladies Auxiliary Eagles Lodge #2597 and long time supporter of the J.D.R.F. Sophia was preceded in death by her father, Harold C. Everingham and mother, Eunice; husband of 37 years, Arnold J. Oswald and first husband, Frank H. Forster III; brothers, Lloyd G. and Harold L. Everingham; sister, Mary Ann Sullivan; stepson, Chris Oswald; stepdaughters, Kathleen McKenny and Linda Wong and infant granddaughter, Forster. Surviving are son, David K. Forster,FL.; daughter, Michele R. Chambers (Rick), CA; grandson, Benjamin D. Forster (Brooke), Toledo; granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Price, AZ., step grand children, Aaron (AUS.) and Sara (WA.) Wong; brother, Jack W. Everingham (Karen), Maumee; sister, Nancy N. Pilcher (Bernard) NV; sister-in-law, Marjorie Everingham, Leipsic and many much loved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear long time friends. Burial will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, Toledo.
