Stephen

Stephen Vermilyea, 61, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System from congestive heart failure. He was born September 8, 1954, to William and Geraldine Vermilyea in Toledo, OH.

He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2007 as a material handler. He was employed there for over 30 years. Stephen's favorite things in life were family, his grandchildren, cruising and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sheri Vermilyea; daughters, Tabetha Coulter, Michelle Stambaugh and Amy Caudill; and adopted daughter, Tara Williams; sons, Stephen Vermilyea and Billy Vermilyea; thirteen grandchildren and one great- grandson; sisters, Judy Hill, June Taylor, and Sandi Faulner; brothers, Charlie Vermilyea and Bill Vermilyea.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:00 Saturday, December 12, 2015, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to a memorial service at 5:00 p.m.

Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
