Joan and Frank, I know your hearts are broken. To me, Steve was still the boy who rode with my daughter, Cara Potter, and hung out with my son, David Potter, and John Castillo. Sounds like he had a wonderful life, cut short way too soon. I wish you comfort and peace.

I credit Steve with where I am today. About 20 yrs ago when I started working for him at Continental Metals, taking care of his computer systems after hours, and when my day job fell apart, he gave me that push to go out on my own. Thank you for believing in me Steve, and being one of my first clients at a time I needed it most, I will never forget that. I got to know his family by coming by the house and taking care of his computer at home, and got to see his kids grow. His dobies would always scare at the door until they remembered me ;-)
Rest easy friend, you were one of the nicest guys I ever met, thank you for everything.

Marcia and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. It was such a pleasure taking care of Steve and getting to know your family. I will always remember running the urinal out to your car after we all made fun of Steve for not being able to make it home after treatment without stopping to go to the bathroom! :) I hope that you are able to find comfort in the wonderful memories you created.
Blessings for peace,
Amanda Andres, RN

My heart is breaking for Marcia and the family. Steve was such a wonderful person. When I was badly bitten by a horse, Steve came running and carried me into the riders lounge and made sure I had the help I needed. I will always remember his kindness.

Steve gave me one of my biggest breaks in business when he was President of Continental Metals back in the 90's. His salesmanship kept my steel company thriving for many, many years. My first round of golf was with Steve. He said "If you want to make in the steel business, you have to golf!" It was then I learned the game and Steve and his unwavering patience (I wasn't that good) kept me out there at golf outings. Most memorable was the evenings at Angelo's Villa for a cocktail and friendship. Try as I did, I rarely saw a bill and Steve would say "You can pay next time Ralphie".
To his beautiful family, you have my utmost condolences.
Love ya pal
