Susanne Danielson Obituary

DANIELSON Susanne Adela Susanne Adela Danielson, age 66, of Swanton, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, March 3, 2007, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, following a brief illness. She was born March 7, 1940, in Pawtucket, RI to the late David and Nellie (Broadbent) Smithson. She married William Earl Danielson, Jr. on July 23, 1960, and he preceded her in death on June 10, 1986. Sue was a rural newspaper carrier for the Toledo Blade for many years and retired from Foodtown in Swanton as a bookkeeper. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1970 and a grateful member of Al-Anon. Sue is survived by her son, William Earl (Karen Weber) Danielson, III, of Montpelier, OH and daughter, Heidi Sue (Michael R. Sr.) Schafer of Bradford, OH. She is also survived by grandchildren, Monica Bennett, Elizabeth Michael and Emily Schafer, all of Bradford, OH; sister-in-law, Sally Mosholder of Frazeysburg, OH; niece, Jodie Champion; nephew, Don Lambert and her long-time companion, Clyde Cordingly. Friends and family may visit Thursday, March 8th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home in Swanton, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Schlicher officiating. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may me made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
