Thomas "Tom" R. Kunz

October 25, 1942 - November 3, 2024

Thomas "Tom" R. Kunz, 82, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. Tom was born on October 25, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the son of Donald and Edna (Ehret) Kunz. Tom was a 1960 graduate from DeVilbiss High School, and a 1964 graduate from University of Toledo. He married Mary Elaine Lance on December 17, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. Tom was employed in the personnel department at GM Powertrain for 33 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Catawba Point Association, and was an avid golfer and UT Football fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Elaine; and brother, Jack (Helen) Kunz. Tom was preceded in death by his sons, Robert and James.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman), Temperance, Michigan, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 8, 2024. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Toledo Museum of Art.
