Thomas Wuest Obituary
Thomas Edward Wuest, age 80, of Curtice, OH, passed away at home on Friday, December 30, 2022. He was born October 24, 1942 in Toledo, OH to Roy and Ethel (Dowse) Wuest. Thomas was a 1960 graduate of Central Catholic High School and married Sue Bartoo in 1965. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Thomas later married Frances Gordon in 2004. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas leaves behind his wife, Frances; his children, Rebecca Lynn, and Pamela Sue; his step-children, Carla, Heather, Pamela, and Steven; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his siblings, James, Robert, Mary (Karl); his brother-in-law, Danny; and his best buddy, Gus. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Howard, Jerry, William, Danny, and Lois.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church, 387 Main St, Genoa, OH on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior in the church narthex. Thomas will be laid to rest at Allen Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars or the Ruth Center at rebrand.ly/assisted-living-community

Tom pitched for cobs shell also known as the Toledo blues. He was areal humorist with dry wit. fun to be around him and Dan. God bless his family during these tough times.
