Todd Michael Duslak was born on October 13, 1967, and passed away under the care of Hospice on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the age of 57. Todd loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. You did not want to be anywhere near him if his teams were losing. Yikes…

Todd is survived by his mother, Karen Duslak; sister, Amy (Jason) Cobb; niece, Ryanne Cobb; and nephew, Tyler Cobb; special friend, Linda; and his faithful, furry friend Miley. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas; and childhood best friend, Fred.

In Todd's younger years, he was an amazing athlete leaving his mark playing football and baseball for The Whittier Jets, Whittier Trojans and Start Spartans. Shortly after graduating high school from Roy C. Start in 1986, Todd joined the United States Army and proudly served from 1987 to 1989 stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii and also a tour in Okinawa, Japan where he learned to enjoy saki!!

It was no secret that Todd battled many years with addiction and like so many others, sacrificed everything because of its power over him. He missed out on so much…. We missed out on so much…. In October of 2023, Todd was diagnosed with cancer and after a short, courageous battle with this evil disease, he just couldn't fight anymore. His final days were spent with family and lifelong childhood friends that remember who he was before addiction stole him from everyone that loved him so much. Ultimately, addiction wasn't the reason he died, but it is what stole his life.

Todd's final resting place and interment of ashes will be at The Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan on October 10, 2025, with full military honors.
