JOHNSTON
Tricia
December 24, 2015, Heaven gained another angel, our sweet and beautiful Tricia.
Bonnie McCormack delivered Tricia into this world on February 26, 1971.
Tricia was a member of Mayfair-Plymouth Congregation-al Christian Church. At a young age she was an explorer and adventurer never afraid of new things, or getting dirty to try them. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her Grampa Gaylord in his workshop or garage watching and learning, and trading wit and having a blast with her Grama Gaylord, who both so adored her. Trish, Shelli, and their Mom spent countless hours making memories and laughter everywhere they went. Mom taught us about love and laughter well. Trish attended countless concerts with sister, cousins, and friends as a teen, often finding our way to the stage, several times getting backstage for autographs. She loved to travel with the family, and eventually venturing out with friends on impromptu road trips, especially to the beach. Trish excelled in High School as well as being honored two separate years with being given the National Award to the United States Achievement Academy, and included in their yearbooks. She never cared to belong to a "clique" or "group", nor did she care so much as to what people thought about that, she loved good people and happiness. This appeal won her the title of Homecoming Queen, of which she was humbled by. After graduation came college and adventures with many wonderful lifelong friends. She had a great passion for animals; particularly dogs were close to her heart. She adored her furbabies, Sammy, Bugsy and Charlie. She studied and trained to receive her certification as a dog trainer, with professional Roger Bice of Lima, OH. Trish and Drew met in Toledo, Ohio and married after several years of fun and dating. Of this union came their gorgeous (inside and out) daughter, Sydney. Needless to say Trish was given the opportunity and took full advantage of becoming one of the most devoted stay at home moms ever.
Trish loved her family immensely, but the apple of her eye of course is her sweet Sydney, whom she referred to as "My Love" and best friend. By looking at the two of them, you could tell how close they were and often times hard to tell them apart. Trish was always by Sydney's side no matter what, and this fills Syd's heart immensely. This started a new chapter in her life, with a whole new kind of adventure. They enjoyed boating, fishing, and the four wheelers. Trish became very involved with Syd at school in the classroom, parties, and after school functions. Their little family had a phenomenal trip out to Los Angeles due to a friendship that Trish and Milla Jovovich developed online. They were flown out to meet Milla and walk the red carpet, as well as attending Milla's after party, definitely one of her favorite adventures she held close in her heart. As sisters, Trish and Shelli spoke or saw each other daily. Many trips were made that became traditions, and memories with their children, Sydney, Tyler, and Jordan as they grew up, almost as if they all still lived together and it was normal to take off for the day randomly or planned, irregardless if they ended up Krogering, or something big such as Kalahari or further. Often times Mom and Dad would join, or host these trips. Most recently Trish, Sydney and cousin Bonnie attended concerts Three Days Grace, and Joan Jett. This created a tighter bond for the "three musketeers/aka bffs". Trish and Syd made friends everywhere they went, and became known friendly faces to always stop and chat with. Trish created so many memories for her sweet baby girl, as well as her entire family throughout the years, enjoying all of her family. Outrageous fun was had by all at every gathering and she would have it no other way.
Tricia was a true human by all definition, with an extremely large heart, always caring about others irregardless of the effect on herself. She was giving not only with her heart and smile, but physically or whatever else it took without a second thought. We all loved how she would brighten the room with her sweet smile, infectious laugh, and crazy sarcastic wit. These things we will hold deeply in our hearts forever. This girl imbedded herself in many lives just by being the person she is, and Trish is one truly amazing person. The world was a better place because of her being in it.
Left to cherish her memories and to carry on for her are loving daughter, Sydney; husband, Drew; parents, Bonnie and Cliff McCormack; sister, Shelli and Troy Licata; adored nephew and niece, Tyler and Jordan; step-brother, Shaun (Evette) McCormack and family; step-sister, Kelli McCormack; much loved Aunt Donna and Uncle Earl Price; cousins, Bonnie Jean and David Stone, Ed and "sister" Julie Price, Jeremy, Elena, and Jacob, Candy Marek, Jesse (Kelsey) Stone and family, Jaimie (Laura) Stone and family, Billy (Crystal) Marek and family; Aunt Jennie and Uncle Bill Price, BJ (Stacie); sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Rob Johns; Aunt Judy Vanderwheel, Christina, and Theresa. Trish also had extended family and many dear friends will hold her dearly in their hearts.
Trish is so deeply loved and missed by her Mom, Dad and Sister, as well as all the family.
Tricia joined in Heaven her beloved cousin, Bonnie Jean Stone; grandparents, Edward and Gaynelle Gaylord; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Kathi Johnston; grandparents, Robert and Betty Hanna; dear "sister" friend, Julie Martin; precious furbabies, Sammy and Bugsy, and other family members.
