Vera Browder Obituary

BROWDER

Vera Tamara

Vera Tamara Browder, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and friend. She devoted her entire life to her family and always put their needs before her own.

Vera was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 5, 1947, and lived there with her family until they moved to Toledo in 1960. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Alice Browder. Vera worked at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for over 20 years where she had countless friends before she retired in 1991.

Vera leaves her brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie and Dorrie Browder, and brother and sister-in-law, David and Shari Browder, and her dear nephew, Michael. Vera also leaves behind her beloved nieces, whom she was a mother to and raised as her own daughters, Michele Ford, Tamara Hageage, and Natalie Tucker and her nephews-in-law, John Lashuay, George Hageage III, and Charlie Tucker Sr.

Vera was an incredible person and loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her great-nieces and nephews, Lauren, Jenna, Seth, Charlie, Natasha, Carlie, Dominic, Ethan, Tylor, George, Aidan, and Zander and her great-great-nieces and nephew, (late) Lynnea, Lily and Maddex. She loved to travel down south to the Smoky Mountains and to her favorite city, New York. She also enjoyed painting, baking, making chocolate and simply spending time with her friends and family. Her family and friends will remember her amazing heart, beautiful smile and fun-loving personality. Her love for us all was endless. She will be greatly missed and always loved.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Funeral Services will begin on Monday, March 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Benjamin DeLong officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, 13200 South Dixie Hwy., LaSalle, Michigan 48145.
