**In Memory of My Grandma Fisher**
One of my first memories of Grandma was the annual trip from California to Ohio. All of us cousins...off-spring of Barb, Marion and Jackie shoved into a station wagon to "go get Grandma from the Toledo Airport." All of us cousins with our faces pressed against the fence watching for the plane. Our mothers crying like babies when they saw her. Then off to Aunt Marions house to regroup. She would spend one week with each family x 3. Also, the memory of my mothers writing tablet sitting on the counter awaiting new entries of the events of the day or week. A weekly ritual to write a letter to Grandma in California in the days before free long-distance or email. And most of all the stories she would share and words of wisdom she would tell us. Quite a spunky lady she was. I did not understand all her philosophy at the time, but do now.
She was always so happy to see you come and sad to see you go. Even in her last days she smiled and remembered me, as I quized her and she really remembered. Amazing !! Many loving memories of the bits of time through out the years.
Thanks Grandma for giving me some of your good qualities. Much love to all, Jeanne Tank

Marian and family,
I am so sorry about Violet's death. But the first thing I remembered about her when I saw her obituary was a day at church after the very inspiring service when we were talking about one day being in Heaven with Jesus and Violet said, "I can't WAIT to die." She wanted to be with Jesus.....and now she is! God Bless her! And God Bless you!
Love and prayers are with you,
Mary (Robert's Chapel)
