Wendy Reiter

Wendy Reiter, age 53 passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025. She was born on April 18, 1972 in Toledo and raised in Whitehouse, Ohio by her parents Ted and Lucy Reiter.

Wendy was a 1990 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School, where she was a member of the marching Generals. She held various jobs in hospitality and later had a cleaning business. Wendy had a sense of humor and enjoyed connecting with her many Facebook friends over the years. Though her life brought challenges, she always had a positive attitude. She loved her children, dogs, and God. Wendy is survived by her children, Andrew, Nick, Caitlin, and Lucas. She is also survived by her mother, Lucy; brothers, Doug, Craig, and Bryan Reiter; as well as her dog, Lucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Ted Reiter in 2017.

We wish to thank the staff at St. Vincent Medical Center and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for providing care and comfort to Wendy in her final days. There will be no public service.

Wendy was a spunky person, I went to see her a lot at the hospital, after she got out, we spent a lot of time together. She came to my house for dinner a few times! There wasn´t anything she wouldn´t do!! One thing I do know, she was always loosing or breaking her phone! Gonna miss ya!! Keep that smile bright!!

I was so sorry to hear of Wendy's passing. She was our "go-to" baby sitter when we started that journey almost 40 years ago. I will keep Lucy, her children, and her brothers in my prayers. May she now rest in peace.

She was a good person and sweet classmate
She jumped in and helped me with a wedding on short notice in 2019- and she was a huge help and hard worker.
She had the same sweet smile then as she did in high school.
She was so happy to share her faith in God- and how He gave her strength, hope and peace. She encouraged others on social media posting about God´s grace and love.
Praying for your family that you feel God´s loving arms around you.

Wendy and I were best friends in High School. We had many memories together. Good and Bad times according to our parents, but we always were having fun! As time went on we grew apart as we left high school. I will miss her dearly! Reider family, you are in my thoughts, prayers and love. May she finally rest in peace.
