For Rev Clay Arnett & the entire Arnett family: Mere words are just not sufficient for your loss but truly heaven's gain. Wes, Edna, Bill & Preston were real family for me. We go back so many years w/playing cards, good old fashioned partying and just spending time together loving, supporting & just being there for each other. Wes' heart was big, sincere, warm & immensely caring. He had no enemies & was loved by everyone fortunate enough to be in his presence. I thank God I was 1 of the blessed ones to enjoy such a gift from God. He loved my mother's homemade tomato gravy (Van Felix) & I have sooo many memories of laughter and pure joy. I am relieved that he is no longer suffering but singing & cuttin' a rug on the streets of gold w/Edna now. Another real & authentic ANGEL amongst us has been called home - so let us REJOICE in knowing he is finally happier than he has EVER been in the presence of GOD. I love you Arnett family and may you be comforted & strengthened in the knowledge that he is absolutely without any doubts – in the presence of God & our prayers cover you in the blood of Jesus. I am truly stunned, this is a Great loss for the family as well as the Langston family our families go way back and I can't seem to grasp this right now but in time I'm sure we will heal, Wes was like a big brother to me I called on him as much as my own brothers in the past and I am truly sorry we have lost another good one.
One thing I'm clear on for sure GOD takes the best!
Love Kim
