Just recently found out about Wes's passing. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to his wife Judy, daughter Sally and my son David, Tina, Kelly, Rich and Jeff. So much grief has visited this family in the 30 some years since Wes and I were divorced. We married in 1975 and parted in 1982. We were so very young and just could not work it out. I am glad he found someone who was a better fit. All my memories of Wes involve that huge goofy smile of his. Fishing, tooteling around town, visiting "patty nubbers" (Pat Westhoven) at the bowling alley in Swanton, working on every car we owned, all of them beaters. Spending the evening watching him twist his hair into a knot, pulling the knot out and then doing it again and again and again. Helping to build Pauline's house on Wilkins Rd. Wes loved his son David more than anything and I'm sure it was the same with his daughter, if not more. He was so proud to be a father I really thought he would burst. I also know how much losing your father hurts. I can't imagine what it is like to lose a husband of (38) years. Wes had a kind, quiet nature and made friends with almost everyone he met. I know he will have left a large void in his family and will be sorely missed. I wish all of you peace and healing in your time of sorrow.

Just found out about Wes´s passing. Very sad, he was a great friend to me in our younger years. Even though I haven´t seen him for several years I still consider him a close friend. I spend lots of great times with Wes and his entire family.I will miss him very much and I wish we would have stayed closer. My condolences to Judy and his entire family. Pat Westhoven

In memory of Wes Born... I still have fond memories of summers filled with playing games with Wes and his brother Jeff. From war to monster to monopoly to baseball.

Our family was long time neighbors of the Brown's and Born's for many years on Wilkins Road. I was very good friends of Bob and Pauline's. I babysat every one of Wes's brothers and sisters and loved this family dearly...so many fond memories. So sorry about Wes passing so young.
