William "Bill" Bailey, 84, of Lambertville, MI died Monday, September 29, 2025.
Born May 15, 1941, in Toledo, OH, he was the oldest son of Paul and June (Fisher) Bailey. A 1959 graduate of Sylvania Burnham High School where he was class president. He later received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University in 1993. Bill married Maryann Bombrys on June 9,1962. Bill enjoyed golfing, playing pinochle, walking his dog Graham, coaching softball in his younger years, Burnham class reunions, and most of all, spending time with his three grandsons.
Bill is survived by his loving daughters, Deborah Bailey and Barbara Mulhern; grandsons, Bailey, Will and Tanner Mulhern; sisters, Carol (Jeff) Rae and Sharon (Bill) Dittman; brothers, David (Sally) Bailey, Donald (Helen) Bailey, and Ronald Bailey; sister-in-law, Ann (Ken) Green; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Maryann; and brothers, Richard (Ann) and Charles.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd (at Jackman), Temperance, MI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025, at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43613, where he will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
