William Belkofer Obituary
William M. Belkofer, age 77, of Jerusalem Township, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Bay Park Community Hospital. Bill was born to Manuel and Fern (Smith) Belkofer on August 18, 1944, at home in Jerusalem Township. He started working at Gordon Lumber directly out of high school and worked there for 46 years. Bill was a farmer for many years and ran a roadside stand with his wife, Donna and children. He owned and operated Bill Belkofer Excavating beginning in 1991. Bill was a people person and enjoyed westerns, especially Gunsmoke, and watching Judge Judy.
Bill is survived by his children, William (Geena) Belkofer, David (Debbie) Belkofer, Rachel (Jerry) Mihlbauer, John Belkofer and Melissa (Jason) Eck; grandchildren, Will (Alison) Belkofer, Jennifer (Bryce) Eck and Vanessa Belkofer, Aaron and Allie Mihlbauer, DJ and Katie Belkofer, Katelyn and Autumn Plentz and Lexi and Emma Eck; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Logan, Marli Wesley, Lily and Andrew; and siblings, Janis Newell and Ken (Janice) Belkofer. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna in 2015.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 3-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
