William Craig Obituary

William "Bill" A. Craig

William Craig, age 83, was called home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2018. He was born August 14, 1934 to Jon Dallas and Anna Ola Craig. William accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized in Jesus's name and filled with the Holy Ghost. He was a faithful armour bearer, he never left his post. He loved people, he loved his family and he was a giving person.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Dallas and Anna Ola Craig; sisters, Virginia Mack, Nettie Daniels, Anna Jones, and Catherine Craig; brothers, Charles Craig, and Fred Craig. William is survived by his loving daughter, Melvinita Duaree Williams; sister, Juanita B Rice; stepsisters, Elorsa Torres, Oga (Henry) Martinez; and stepbrother, Antonio (Jane) Hernandez; all of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Viewing is Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home. Homegoing celebration is Saturday, January 20 with Wake at 1 p.m. and Funeral at 2 p.m. at Warren AME Church, 915 Collingwood Blvd. Elder Jermaine McCallum, Pastor and Officiant.
