William Hubbell Obituary
William D. Hubbell, age 80, of Waterville, OH, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family on June 6, 2022.
He was born to Jack and Clemma (Miller) Hubbell on March 3, 1942. He was a graduate of Libbey High School. He married Helen Deibler on May 15, 1965 and together they raised 2 children. Bill spent his career working at Libbey Owens Ford/Pilkington as a Quality Control Specialist until the time of his retirement. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of Pythias and enjoyed golfing and bowling in his spare time. He also loved spending time at his cottage with family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen; son, John (Tina) Hubbell; daughter, Michelle (Steve) Meredith; grandchildren, Jack, Jenna and Claire; as well as a niece, a nephew and many cousins.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Friday, June 10th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 11th at St. Joseph Church, 104 W. Broadway St., Maumee, OH 43537 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care.

I met Bill when he worked at LOF Rossford but got to know him after I joined the LOF Golf League. It was always a pleasure talking with him. Great stories and sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers to the entire family.

My sincere condolences to all of Bill's family. I worked with Bill at the Rossford Plant. He was outstanding at his job but what I remember most about him was his smile. He had the ability to make us all laugh even during the toughest times. I now reside in Florida so will be unable to say my goodbyes in person. However, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. He will be missed.
