William Kozman Obituary
William M. "Bill" Kozman, age 91, passed away on January 24, 2022. He was born on December 12, 1930 to Ida and Mendel Kozman in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Toledo at the age of 2. A graduate of Scott High School, Bill served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and returned to work for 30 years at Ohio Bell-Ameritech, retiring in 1984. He had played on the Toledo Tornadoes Pro football team in the 1950's. In retirement Bill worked at the Whiteford Valley Golf Course for many years and delivered Mobile Meals for 10 years.
Surviving is his daughter, Marla Kusz (David Claar); son, Kenneth (Kathy) Kozman; grandchildren, Lee (Stephanie) Kusz, Anna Kusz and Matthew (Bre Anne) Kusz; great-granddaughter, Zoe Kusz; and life partner, Darla Koepke.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Sylvia.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, services and burial were held privately. Memorial donations are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
