William Lake Memoriam

In Loving Memory William Dennis Lake 9-11-44 - 5-14-09 It's been 3 years since cancer took you from us. Much has happened in our lives. You would be so proud of the man Eric has become. Autumn continues to raise her children and is now putting herself through school. Our grandchildren are growing up so fast. You are never far from our minds. We talk about you a lot. Cherokee made it to the final four this year. I'm sure you were cheering them on. The hall continues to grow with your name shining out front. My life has changed too. I continue to do my best to keep the promises I made you. Some people believe when a person dies the soul stays behind to look out for their loved ones until they know they are okay. I'd like to believe this is true, after all where else would all those pennies have come from? I never thought I would be able to say these words to you...but you can rest now, we are taken care of. I am taken care of. You can go on to heaven and be with our family and friends that have passed on before us, we will be fine. For the first time since your death I will spend the day celebrating your life instead of mourning my loss. Your place in our hearts will never change. We will continue to remember you through laughter and tears. Your memory will live on through us always. True love never dies. You may be gone but never will you be forgotten. Until we meet again. Love, Julie. Dad, Hard to fathom that another year has passed. I feel the hurt like it was yesterday. You should see my jar of pennies now! One day it will make me rich!! So many times I wish I could hear one more "Hey Audi...." I won't I know...but it's okay. I love you. Love, Your Baby Girl Hey Grandpa, I love and miss you. Christian Grandpa Bill, I love and miss you so much. I think about you all the time. Caiti Grandpa, I miss you. I love you and think about you all the time. I sing sometimes to you. I hope you like it. Kyleigh Hi Grandpa! I love you to the moon and miss you!! Eryka Grandpa Bill, I love your candy and I love you. April
