William Terry

Bill passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015, at the age of 61. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio to Earl and Peggy Laughlin on July 20, 1953. He moved to Tallahassee in 1971.

Bill graduated Godby High School in 1973. He owned and operated Bill Laughlin's Heating & A/C since 1981. He was an avid golfer and played several times a week with his favorite foursome. Bill was a big FSU Seminole fan and attended baseball and football games.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Patrick Laughlin (Bunny); his niece, Rachel Laughlin, both of Tallahassee, and his special cousins, Deb, Betsy and Amy.

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, February 21, 4 p.m. at 1017 Lothian Dr., Waverly Hills, FL. Friends and family were welcome. Tod Wahlquist with Bevis Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, (850) 385-2193.

Pat, so sorry to hear as Bill was a super guy. I was always fond of him and your famiy. We were good friends in the high school years and when we lived in the same neighborhood in Tallahassee. Dear Patrick, Bunny, Rachel, Deb, Betsy and Amy;
Bill and I were friends at Godby in 1973. I remember him as being a very kind and gentle person. I saw him about a dozen years later when he came to do work where I was employed at the time and he was the same kind and gentle man as I remembered. I'm sorry you have lost your friend and brother/uncle/cousin. I know he will be missed.
