William D.

William D. Sieler, age 69, of Adrian, formerly of the Ottawa Lake area, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Ebeid Hospice Home in Sylvania. He was born December 19, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio to Willard John and Ruth Catherine (Brodbeck) Sieler. On June 18, 1977, he married Sandra Dunbar-Bartholomew at the Zion

Lutheran Church in Ottawa Lake, and she survives. Bill was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adrian where he served as Director of Music. He had been employed by IBM Corporation, retiring on July 3, 1997, after 30 years of service.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by

two stepsons, Steven M. (Tammy) Bartholomew and Scott R. Bartholomew, and Jeanne St. Julian, all of Toledo; four grandchildren, Ashley J. (Shane) Grady, Stacey M. Bartholomew, Carley L. (Darryl Jackson) Bartholomew and Willow V.R. Bartholomew; four great-grandchildren, Ceira J. and Colin J. Grady, James H. Stoll, and twins, Grace and Savannah Stoll, all of Toledo; one sister, Margaret A. Fox of Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The Funeral Liturgy for Bill will be offered at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Adrian, on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. David Hudgins presiding. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of cremains will be in Toledo Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian, where a Vigil Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St Joseph Catholic Church, St Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, or Ebeid Hospice. Envelopes are available at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
