Christian Marie Majewski

Christina Marie Majewski Fort Johnson Christina Marie Majewski, 48, of East Main St., Ft. Johnson, passed away Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital in the loving company of her family. Born in Amsterdam on April 2, 1965, the daughter of Arthur C. Conrad and the late Patricia Shelly Conrad, she was a 1983 graduate of Amsterdam High School. Chris was employed as a nurse's aide for many years at the former Park Hill Adult Home. She was dedicated to her profession and had a deep sense of compassion and concern to those she cared for. Later, she lovingly cared for her own mother, Pat, and also her mother-in-law, Phyllis, during their final illnesses. She recently was employed as a sales associate at the Goodwill Shop, and was a parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Chris had an artistic flair and enjoyed decorating her home and making crafts. She leaves her husband, Edward M. Majewski; son, Michael T., and daughter, Katherine E. Majewski of Ft. Johnson; her father, Arthur Conrad; sister, Shelly (William) Janeski; brother, Arthur Michael Conrad; fatherin-law, Edward S. Majewski, all of Amsterdam, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and very dear friends. Her family will always remember her loving smile Twas Heaven Here With You! The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, Fr. John Medwid, celebrant. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Interment is in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Community Hospice of Amsterdam, 246 Manny's Corner Rd., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
