Eileen Campbell Obituary
EWING
Eileen O'Brien Campbell, 94, of Ewing, NJ, passed away on Feb. 12, 2019, at Morris Hall - St. Mary's Assisted Living in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Robert Vincent Campbell Sr.; parents, Marie and Darby O'Brien; and brother, Darby O'Brien.
Eileen is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert V. Jr. and Amy Campbell and their children, Kaylin and Kyle, of Lambertville, NJ, and Jeffrey and Micaela Campbell and their daughter, Darby, of Monmouth Beach, NJ; her brother, John O'Brien and his wife, Charlotte, of Cape May, NJ; sister-in-law, Lois O'Brien of Kendall Park, NJ, and 19 nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Eileen graduated from Cathedral High School in 1942. After graduating, she worked as a secretary at Eastern Aircraft in Ewing, NJ, where they assembled planes for the war. Later, Eileen worked as a secretary at New Jersey State Library in the archives section for 15 years. While a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Trenton, NJ, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and PTA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2019, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Murphy Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 935 Parkway Ave., Ewing, NJ 08618. Words of Remembrance will be delivered at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2019, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 West Upper Ferry Rd., West Trenton, NJ 08628. Interment will follow at Ewing Cemetery, 78 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ. Please visit www.murphyfh.com for additional information.

PRAISE THE LORD! - My sincere loving condolences and prayers of divine blessed strength and peaceful comfort to the entire Campbell Family, respectfully. In retrospect; I have wonderful memories of a gentle time and place; at the State Law Library, where I worked with Bobby, Jeff and so many other fantastic precious loving folks. Throughout the course of the work day I would always take the elevator to the Archives section whereas I would embrace the kindness, laughter and goodness in joyful conversation with Eileen and all the other amazing staff in Archives and throughout the entire Library, respectfully. I have never forgotten those precious library family workplace friendships. Bobby, Jeff and Family; I thank GOD above for those wonderful days and smiling faces of you guys and your beautiful Mother. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. Eileen's lovely smile, kindness and sweet spirit will never be forgotten. GOD BLESS / AGAPE / SHALOM
