Emily R. Herrera

Emily Rose (DiBiase) Herrera, 88, of Hamilton, NJ, entered into her eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Capital Health Hopewell surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Emily was a lifelong area resident. She was employed as an Executive Secretary for NJ Business & Industry Association for 34 years before her retirement.
Emily was a parishioner of St. Anthony's-Our Lady of Sorrows Church where she was also a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of a Professional Secretaries Club.
She enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the NY Yankees. She bowled for NJ Manufacturer's for many years, and was into fitness.
Emily was a talented seamstress who made wedding dresses for both her daughter and a sister-in-law, even hand beading them. She loved spending her summers at her place in Stone Harbor where she made many memories. She enjoyed her "orange juice" and her martinis. Emily loved nothing more than quality time spent with her beloved family.
Daughter of the late Frank and Nancy (Volpe) DiBiase; beloved wife of the late Robert H. Herrera; loving mother of the late Thomas A. Herrera; and sister of the late Marie Pastor.
Emily is survived by her daughter Bobbie Beczo; her two cherished grandchildren, Stephen E. Beczo and wife Tiffani, and Courtney E. Beczo; a great granddaughter, Cali Marie Beczo; her brother Dr. Joseph DiBiase and wife Lucille; a brother-in-law, Anthony Herrera and wife Cherry; two sisters-in-law, Amelia and husband Paul Kuzemka, and Sally Herrera; her godson, Christopher Pastor and wife Kristin and their children Cole, Chase, and Caleb; a niece, Stephanie and wife Leslie Konsig and their children, Skylar and Luke; as well as many other family members and friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Church, 626 So. Olden Ave., Hamilton, NJ followed by burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ.
