Carrie E. Wiggins

Carrie E. Wiggins of Hamilton Township, passed away in Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Hamilton Grove. She was 92. Born in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, Carrie was a longtime Hightstown area resident. She moved to Hamilton about 15 years ago. She loved gardening and took beautiful care of her flowers. She was a hardworking, simple woman whose greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family. Most recently, she welcomed the addition of their new pet cat, Prince. Carrie was quick to love and accept everyone around her. She enjoyed spending time cooking for all of her loved ones and friends. The mother of the late Richard Moore, she is survived by 3 sons: Roosevelt Wiggins of Ewing, Alton Wiggins and his wife Alice of Hamilton, and Dennis and his wife Tammie of Westampton; her daughter Rosa Johnson of Plainsboro; 6 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Hazel Conover of Jamesburg, a niece Ruth Edwards and her husband Kenneth of Allentown, as well as several other nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11:30 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10:30-11:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
