May God comfort, strengthen and keep you during the time of your bereavement.
Mrs. Lacy was a teacher extraordinare, a pioneer and an educational advocate whose legacy leaves an infinitesimal impact in many lives and our society.
It was a pleasure to have had her as a supplemental instructor during my stay at Wilson Elementary School.

My condolences to the Lacy family.
I have very fond memories of Mrs. Lacy's doll collection which she willingly displayed for many years during Black History Month at the Ewing Branch Library. I looked forward each year to see what special items she would display for our patrons! One could tell that collecting dolls of color was more than a very special hobby, and her doll collection was superior. She was very supportive of me during the early years of my tenure at the library, which I greatly appreciated. I remember her warmth and beautiful smile! May God keep you all in His love and care during this difficult time, and grant you extra special memories of her.

Dear Wanda, Teddy and Susan,
Mrs Lacy was a wonderful woman. A few words that come to mind are Class Act. She was not only beautiful outside but inside because of her actions and commitments to the greater good as shown by the outpouring of love from those she touched. She truly left behind an amazing legacy for her children and grandchildren. Her passing bought back many memories ... Wednesday night dinners at Lucy's. I hadn't seen her in many years (20+) and whenever our paths would cross she would ALWAYS greet me with respect and with her big bright beautiful smile and inquire about her niece. I want to thank her for her kindness, it was always appreciated. Rest In Peace to a beautiful soul and a life well lived.

Whenever I saw your mother/grandmother she always had an infectious smile on her face. All of you have the same smile. Treasure your memories for you have many. One of my favorite memories is when she displayed her doll collection and educated the students and families I worked with at HeadStart. She will be missed by many.

My sincere condolences for the passing of one of the finestteachers I haave known . She was a friend to all and demonstrated her concern about history from continuing to provide excellent , meaningful programs following a truly excellent teaching career .In addition , she was a great parent ,raising wonderful children .
