Joseph Farina

Joseph Farina died at age 88 at his home on February 12, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by his wife Ruby, he will be deeply missed by his son, Joe R. Farina and his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Gary Thomas. He was a proud grandfather to Max Farina, Stacey Thomas, and Jeremy Thomas and his wife Kari. Also left to mourn his passing is Joe’s devoted companion of many years, Madelain Smith. Joe was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet his newborn great granddaughter, Madison Thomas, this past Thanksgiving when the family was all together for one last time. If you knew Joe, you know he was one of the biggest and most loyal New York Yankees fans ever! He is also remembered as a selfless family man who worked hard and devoted his life to his family. The family requests no flowers, please. However, we ask that you honor Joe’s memory by exhibiting a random act of kindness. Christian funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Family and friends may call Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ.
