Leila Mae McCants Obituary
Mrs. McCants was employed as a Certified Nurse's Aide at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ until she retired.
She was predeceased by her husband, John McCants, grandson, James E. McCants, Jr., sisters, Lillie B. Sanders and Willa Dean Barronvile. She leaves to cherish her memory; one son; James E. McCants, Sr. (Bonita); of Atmore; one daughter; Florence L. McCants; of Johnstown, PA; four sisters; Agra Dean Hayes (Joe); and Zera Bell Hayes; both of Trenton, Gertrude Knight; of Atmore and Zeola Hall; of Langhorne, PA; two brothers; Willie A. Carter; of Newark, NJ and Robert Carter; of Trenton; two sisters-in-law; Rosa Mae Harrison; of Atmore and Irena McCants; of Monroeville, AL; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a devoted grandson; Reginald Hall; special friend; Brother Clarence Matthews and the Clinton Avenue Church of Christ, Trenton, New Jersey and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (July 16) at Christian Memorial Funeral Home, 78 Harris St., Atmore, AL 36502.
