Nevolia McPherson Obituary
She was born in Burlington, N.C. on July 27, 1919, and moved to Princeton in 1946 where she lived for the remainder of her life. She worked for Veribest Cleaners as a presser for 25 years. Nevolia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Princeton where she served on the Unity Choir, the Missionary Society, and the Senior Citizens Organization.
Predeceased by her parents Lina and William Hurdle, brothers, William and Charlie Hurdle, and her husband, Robert McPherson Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Faye Streater (Charles), son, Robert McPherson Jr. (Carol), nine grandchildren, Randy and Kenny Bullock, Deborah Green, Robert McPherson III, Adrian McPherson, Aundrase McPherson, Toddrell Hartley, Tyeisha James (Rashawn), and Tasha Howard, 16 grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday (Jan. 30) at the First Baptist Church, John St. and Paul Robeson Place, Princeton. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
