Rose Slachta Obituary
Born in Pittston, Pa., she lived most of her life in the Trenton area.
She retired after 16 years of service from ShopRite in Bordentown. Rose loved to spend time with her friends in Atlantic City.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Tomasina Assaro Lunetta, wife of the late Paul Slachta, she is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul D. and Barbara Slachta and Kevin and Susan Slachta, a sister, Teresa Pelicano, all of Yardville; four grandchildren, Dr. Kristy, Alison, Justina and Kevin J. Jr. Slachta; a special niece and nephew, Theresa "Babe" Lucherini and Joseph Pelicano; and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road in Yardville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery in Hamilton.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the memorial chapel.
Memorial contributions in Rose's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

To Rose's Family,
I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Rose when working at Shop-Rite. She was always so sweet. She made the break room and her department that much nicer. Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers.
