Helen Beiser Obituary

Helen S. Ogiba Beiser, age 93, formerly of Quarry Avenue, DuBois, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Christ the King Manor.
Born May 22, 1923, in DuBois, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Yakub and Sophie (Tabaka) Ogiba.
She retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing in DuBois after 23 years of service.
Helen was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Walter S. Glowacki and his wife, Robin of Penfield, Pa., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Walter Ogiba and two sisters, Josephine Ogiba and Lottie T. Glowacki.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2016, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Daniel Kresinski as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 25 Robinson Street, DuBois, PA 15801; Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Avenue, DuBois, PA 15801; and/or St. Jude's Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
