Jackie was always gracious and kind to me. She loved Penn State DuBois and demonstrated that devotion in many ways, especially in support of students. She served as CEO of the campus when there were very few women in leadership roles in higher education. She paved the road for me and other women to serve in leadership positions and she will always hold my admiration and respect for her many achievements.Jackie was always gracious and kind to me. Dear Family Members,

I just fund out Jackie has passed. She hired me at Penn State DuBois in 1986. She was a good boss! After she retired,I was always happy to see her and she seemed glad to see me. We would catch-up. Jackie was always interested in how my son and I was doing. She will be missed.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathy,

Tremendous sadness at the loss of Jackie Schoch as and educator, community icon, and humanitarian. She cared about her staff at PSU and all the students. She helped many to find their way to a college education. I never would have gotten my first degree at PSU without the help and assistance of Jackie. Today, I have a masters degree which never would have been possible with some divine intervention on Jackie's part.
One of her loves was the Girl Scouts and she made a commitment to help these young ladies to have the experience from scouting and a good organization to give these girls opportunities.
She will be deeply missed.

When one recalls their childhood, certain people stand out that have shaped you into an adult. Jackie was that person to me. I was active in Girl Scouts and she gave me guidance to be a good person, to have goals for your life and most of all, to value friendships. How do you find the words to say what is in your heart and tears? Just thank God that our paths crossed. T. Kay (Mauk) White DAHS Clsss of 1960.

Jackie Schoch was a great human being, a friend, and a mentor.Jackie was a person that people wanted to do for.

She didn't nag or order people to do things. Her enthusiasm was contagious. She would never ask someone to do something that she wouldn't do.

I will miss her very much. She was a great warm human being.

Memories of knowing how blessed we all are having had this brilliant woman in our lives! Remember cooking outdoors at Girl Scout camp; gym classes; her untold heartfelt sincere classes about living and learning life; shared exciting visits; breaking bread together; "her girls" circle of prayer at camp as recently as last September; her attitude and caring heart for service she graciously extended to all humankind. She was a profound leader, honorable teacher and professor. She was a great friend!

We should continue to uplift others as her lasting legacy and gift to us.

My sincere condolences to her sisters and her family. She is taking a well-deserved rest in the love of His Spirit.

I am so sorry to hear of cousin Jackie's passing. It was always fun to hear her stories and go on outings with her (and with Ginny, Shirley, or Pinky, too!) with the other cousins. She is a great lady, and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and your family at this time. Love to Ginny, Shirley, Pinky, Kim, Chris, and Susan and their families. From Diane R.
