Michael Horchen Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rose and Michael Horchen. Michael is survived by his loving wife, Toni, his daughters, Kristin (Jamie) Diffucia of DuBois and Melissa Horchen of Los Angeles, CA, his grandchildren, Josh, Garrett, Olivia, and Solly. Michael is also survived by his two brothers, Brunie Horchen and Paul (Becky) Horchen, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Michael was born in St Mary's, but his family settled in DuBois. He graduated from DuBois High School in 1968 and married the love of his life that same year. Mike and Toni started a family soon after.
Mike enjoyed being outdoors, working on numerous rental home remodels with his crew comprised largely of his nephews, music (he loved the Beatles), old Westerns on TV, watching the seasonal flowers bloom, and feeding every critter at their home in the country. His favorite times were spent with the family that he cherished. Michael was a practicing Catholic having been a long time member of St Joseph's Church and most recently attending services at St Michael's.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, 1312 Chestnut Avenue, DuBois. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 4 p.m. with Pastor Bret Dinger and Father Matt Quimo officiating. All are welcome.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Ross County Humane Society at Lick Run Road #A, Chillicothe, OH 45601 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

I have memories of Toni coming to my parent's home I believe around 1968 & Mike showing up to take her back to DuBois. Mike was an exceptionally nice person, and my wife & I have always loved him & Toni dearly. He will no doubt be very missed by many people. Rest in Peace Mike, you are now in your heavenly home.
