Paige Buffone Obituary
She was born April 27, 1968, in Frankfurt, Germany, the daughter of the late David A. Buffone and Judith A. (Cobes) Buffone. She was a graduate of DuBois Area High School.
Paige loved being a mother and Baba to her 11 grandchildren, crocheting, cooking, the beach and the Pittsburgh Steelers. When she was younger she loved hunting and fishing with her Dad and Grandpa Angelo. She loved her coworkers and being the "work mom" at Jim Shorkey Kia in Wexford.
She is survived by her four children: Elana Shaffer of Punxsutawney, PA; Kristen (Parker) Campbell of Elwood City, PA; Joseph (LaDraya) Buffone of Fairbanks, AK; and Angela Buffone of New Brighton, PA; 11 grandchildren: Landon, Jazzmin, Arionna, Avery, Nova and Gia Shaffer, Wyatt and Carter Campbell, and Jaelyn, Evelyn and Desmond Buffone; two sisters: Beth Buffone of Bruceton Mills, PA and Lorri (Richard) Starr of Brockway, PA; a sister-in-law Michelle Smith of DuBois, PA; two aunts: Cathy Dennis of Lewisburg, PA and Margaret Buffone Burke of Sebring, FL; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Bradley Smith, David Buffone and Edward Buffone, her paternal and maternal grandparents, niece Amy Liedl, nephew Kyle Smith and her uncle Louie Buffone.
Friends will be received on Friday, January 9 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway, PA. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m., with Pastor Greg Sands officiating. The family will have a private interment service on January 10 at St Tobias Cemetery in Brockway, PA.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org. Online condolences may be left at csfhinc.com.
